Let’s reimagine what your data can do — together.
Jennifer Tran-Smith combines the precision of Engineering Design with the strategic insight of Business Administration, Project Management, and Data Analytics. Over the past two decades, she has held leadership roles in outcomes evaluation and data management, helping not-for-profit organizations across Calgary optimize operations, enhance decision-making, and tell more meaningful impact stories.
A member of both the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) and the Project Management Institute (PMI), Jennifer holds specialized certifications in Data Analytics and Project Management. She brings deep experience working with community grants — including those from the City of Calgary, Government of Alberta, and Alberta Health Services — offering support in strategic planning, program evaluation, and reporting.
Jennifer is highly skilled in aligning data collection tools such as CRMs, surveys, interviews, and focus groups with technology to ensure scalable, sustainable data systems. Her work supports long-term data solutions that reflect the real needs of the organization — not just the requirements of the moment.
As a faculty member at SAIT’s School of Business, she also teaches future professionals how to lead with data, prioritize evidence-based outcomes, and approach strategy through a human-centered lens.
